Matte Alexandros Babel was born in Thornhill, Ontario and graduated from Wilfried Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario with a double major in communications and sociology. After graduating, Matte showed up at MuchMusic and convinced the station to hire him as a VJ...Well, he would have convinced me of anything...Ahem...Moving on...His favorite artists are OutKast, Kanye West, Jigga, Spice Girls, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, BSB.Matte Babel has lived in New York City, Atlanta, Toronto, Milton and now he calls Hamilton,Ontario,home.He has an older brother, a young brother, and a young sister. Apparently he played semi pro football in Austria...Okay...He considers himself to be a "cool dude" who values originality in people. His advice: "Just be you."Way to go Matte!!
